Bookshop

In 2014, a new service was born, that is Poliambulanza Bookshop, close to the main entrance.
The project was launched in collaboration with Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore’s Bookshop (Via Trieste, Brescia).
Fondazione Poliambulanza’s offer is not only about health service, medical research, assistance and care, but pretends to be a cultural offer too, in which the hospital stands as a ‘place of culture’, a place for research, cultural initiatives and events, in other words a driver of development.
Marketing aand promoting books within the hospital actually means implementing the growth of individuals, being them the medical and nurse staff or the 4000 persons who enter the hospital every day for different reason.

Open at the following times:

  • From Monday to Friday from  8:00 am  to 4:30 pm

Phone number:

Religious support

Hospital stay can be a hard moment, being difficult not only fot the patients themselves but also for their family.
Fondazione Poliambulanza’s human committment to provide high-quality treatments is indivisible from the spiritual and religious one. As a consequence, it has declard its readiness to receive, guide and support patients throughout the course of their disease.
In the context of the religious assistance provided, Fondazione Poliambulanza is fostering a mutual interfaith and multicultural dialogue. Our patients can openly practice their faith, whatever it is, and can also be followed by their religious ministers throughout their hospitalization
It is forbidden to adopt certain attitudes and policies that are sectarian in character.
For what concerns the Catholic assistance provided within the hospital, it has been assigned to the Chaplaincy, in which caplains and nuns actually cooperate. Beside the administration of sacraments and the exercise of religious activity, they carry out other activities and are actually involved with the sick, taking care of their human spirit, as well.
The Cappellania, together with the ‘Volontari Buon Samaritano’ association, are involved in providing a support to hospitalized patients, promoting a mutual relation and exchange of ideals, values, aspirations.

Every day, in the hospital Chapel takes place the celebration of the Scaraments and the Sacrament of Eucharist.

  • Every working day, the Holy Mass is performed at 5:00 pm
  • On Sundays and Public the Holiday, the Holy Mass is performed at 8:00 am and 5:00 pm
  • Every day, the Holy Rosary takes place at 4:30 pm
  • Every Fridays, the Ecucharistic Adoration is practiced from 8:00 am to 11:30 am
