Cancer Support Associations in Brescia

A Network of Support Beyond Treatment

Facing cancer means embarking on a journey that goes beyond clinical care, affecting the person as a whole, as well as their family and those close to them.

Alongside healthcare teams, voluntary associations, foundations, and patient organizations provide valuable support. They can offer a listening ear and emotional support, information and guidance, opportunities to connect and share experiences, support services, and initiatives dedicated to prevention and research.

The Fondazione Poliambulanza Cancer Centre recognizes the importance of this network and provides a dedicated space for organizations active in cancer care and support in the Brescia area, as well as associations focusing on specific types of cancer.

The aim is to help patients, families, and caregivers learn about the resources available and more easily identify those that can best meet their needs at different stages of the care pathway.
